In January of this year, I experienced a life-changing tragedy when my son was hospitalized and nearly died from all the complications of severe and prolonged alcohol use. It's not that he wasn't fighting the disease; it's that he was trying to fight it alone. This demonic power had isolated and secluded him to the point that even I, as his mother, was largely unaware of how serious his situation was. I have also struggled with various bondages, from addiction and alcoholism to trauma and fear, but today I am free. This freedom has come from having a personal relationship with JESUS CHRIST and being immersed in a community of faith.
Due to the shame, secrecy, and isolation that bondages thrive on, it is my hope that through Discipleship-Online, those suffering deeply and intensely would not have to do so alone. At Discipleship-Online, if you are struggling to find freedom from brokenness, you can receive faith-based recovery support by being paired with a JESUS follower who has been led into freedom from the same struggles and can now come alongside you. Together, we come up with a plan of action involving predetermined levels of support ranging from prayer, messaging, daily Bible-based encouragement, phone/video conversations, Bible studies, education, and group activities— all using an online platform so you can reach out from anywhere, anytime.
